National Dog Day - Aug 26, 2015!

Today is National Dog Day! Looks like it's been happening for the last 11 years! Wow, only eleven years? Dogs have been man's best friend for way longer than that.

Rather than repeat all the many tributes already out there, we at Carolina Helping Paws Rescue just want to take a moment today to gently remind you to hug your dog a little extra today! If you have more than one dog, hug them all a little extra.

As you can see, Hurley and Claire love hugs and snuggles and this photo truly expresses the sentiment we in rescue have for all dogs - yours, ours, and all those out there who still need homes.

Adopt, don't shop!
